Ronald was a real (retired) U.S. Marine Corps drill instructor. The training is the heart and soul of the movie. In some places you will laugh your heart out. A must watch.

All the three movies are great adventure movies and a treat to senses. It is one of my favorite movies. The movies are based on the novel by J. R. R. Tolkien. The first part The Fellowship of the Ring is just the beginning of the movie which shows the characters, the purpose of the ring and stuffs like that. The first part won 4 academy awards for: Best Cinematography, Best Effects (Visual Effects), Best Makeup, and Best Music (Original Score). The second part The Two Towers shows the preparation of the war. The movie won 2 academy awards for Visual Effects, and Sound Editing. The most important is the third part The Return of the King which shows the war and it is a great one. The third part also shows the life of Gollum, the mystic creature who was once the bearer of the ring. The movie won 11 academy awards: Academy Award for Best Picture, Directing, Adapted Screenplay, Original Score, Song, Visual Effects, Art Direction, Costume Design, Make-up, Sound Mixing and Film Editing. It is the only movie after Ben Hur and Titanic to won 11 academy awards. All the three movies are must watch.

Now, that's the best example of a perfect adventure movie. Tom Hanks is as usual incredible in his performance. The story is about a guy who works for FedEx and his plane crashes and he lands in to a deserted island. I liked the way he talks with the volleyball and calls it Wilson. Here he spends many years and somehow returns back to the civilization. He founds out that his girlfriend has married to another guy. The movie is very touchy in the end and will make you cry. It's a must watch. The movie received two academy awards, one for Tom Hanks as the best actor and the other for best sound.
