The movie depicts situation of India in colonial times. It shows the lack of law and order and a total chaos of the system. The movie takes place in rural India where women have to go to work in Spice factories. Subedar likes a woman over there and then the intense drama starts. I will not disclose the story, it's fun to watch when it is not told. Acting of Smita Patil is a good one and Naseeruddin Shah and Om Puri were outstanding as always.

Mad Max was the first movie of the trilogy which was released in 1979. I liked the story and it was quite unique. In the first part the villain was quite dramatic and sounds really good with the Australian accent. The first part signifies the making of Max, a mad guy. Second part was good with the fighting for the fuel concept. At the last, when it was found out that the fuel was not in the tanker was a great suspense. Nice way to tackle the bad guys. In the third part I liked the concept of Master-Blaster. Overall, all the three parts are nice. The first part is a bit slow, but again it's good to watch.
