I picked this movie only because it starred Jack Nicholson and it turned out to be a great one. Jack was exceptional and Randy Quaid was great and so was Otis Young. The story was pretty interesting. Jack and Otis are the guys from navy who have to escort a prisoner Randy to the prison. They were provided 5 days to finish the job and in these five days they traveled. Jack and Otis made friends with Randy who was just 18 years old. He was charged for stealing $40, because of that the navy guys felt that he did not deserved to be in jail for 8 years. So they try to make him enjoy this journey. The movie is a classic and a must watch.
