The movie is about friends who works for a factory and for their leisure time, they go deer hunting. The movie also shows sequences of Vietnam war. The movie is great and pretty interesting. The movie won 5 academy awards: for Best Picture, Best Director (Michael Cimino), Best Actor in a Supporting Role (Christopher Walken), Best Film Editing, and Best Sound.
