The movie depicts the life of early Texas when there was racism and stuff like that. The story of the movie is a good one and I liked the acting of Danny Glover and Sally Field. The movie won 2 academy awards: Sally Field for Best Actress and Best Writing, Screenplay Written Directly for the Screen.
